Ann Marie Petrigliano was born in New Jersey to James Rocco and Minnie (Lombardi) Petrigliano. The family moved to Coxsackie, NY in Ann’s teens, where she graduated from Coxsackie-Athens Central School in June 1961. She then went on to work for the New York State Retirement System, and later enjoyed working for the Quarry Steak House socializing with patrons and making many friends.
In 1992, Ann met and married Bob Diaz. After many adventures, they retired in Sierra Vista, AZ. Ann was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a gracious hostess who welcomed all into her home. She loved God, life and her family and was an inspiration to all who met her and loved her.
Ann passed away peacefully at home on May 13th surrounded by family after a short battle with Cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband, “Bobby”; two sons, Dean and Patrick Longthon; brothers Jim and Thomas (and Linda) and sister Kathy Polach (and Joe); five stepchildren and their spouses; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Ann was a blessing to the many lives she touched and will be greatly missed. May God bless her and give her true peace on her final journey.
