Music Undefeated!

Application Deadline Extended to May 30th

If there’s uncertainty in your summer study plans because of the pandemic, you may want to know...

We won’t be defeated by COVID-19! Our Berkshire High Peaks Festival will be virtual. We’re excited about the new possibilities this opens for all of us, beyond surmounting today’s challenges.

We’ve once again adjusted our application deadline to accommodate necessary changes: Now you have until May 30th to apply (just click the green button below).

Each participating musician will get four private lessons over the course of the festival, participate in master classes by our faculty and guests, enjoy discussions by prominent composers, renowned pedagogues, and public relations professionals who will look at the past, present and beyond the Coronavirus universe to chart what might be the course of classical music. We are learning the technology we need to make everyone connected and actively be a part of the classes and events.

Because we don’t have costs related to room and board, etc., the fee will be down by half this year. We will be in touch with each of you to arrange payment - or if have already paid the full fee - you will be reimbursed the difference.

Please share this with talented young string players and vocalists who might like to be part of this virtual learning experience. Welcome to a courageous new world!
