GREENVILLE — Greenville jumped out to an 18-0 lead after one quarter and went on to defeat Chatham, 45-20, in Thursday’s Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

The Spartans were up 25-6 at halftime and 32-19 after three quarters.

Aislinn O’Hare led Greenville with 10 points. Piper O’Hare and Bryn Fitzmaurice each had nine points, Emily Smith had six points, 12 assists and eight rebounds, Mikaela Crawley grabbed 15 rebounds and Charlotte Dawson had 10 steals.

Olive Mountain had 10 points for Chatham.

CHATHAM (20): Perry 2-0-4, Chudy 0-0-0, Mountain 3-4-10, Hayes 1-0-2, Brennan 1-1-4. Totals 7-5-20.

The Riders won by scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-20 to improve to 5-1.

CRARYVILLE — Taconic Hills earned a 3-1 victory over Voorheesville in Patroon Conference boys volleyball action on Thursday.

Taconic Hills took the opening set, 25-14, dropped the second, 25-20, then won the last two, 25-17 and 25-15.

For TH: Aaron Peck had 23 assists, 3 blocks, 1 kill and 8 digs; Adonias Mercado had 8 aces, 9 kills and 28 digs;

Lucas Chamberlain had 3 kills, 5 blocks, 2 assists and 23 digs; Ryan Walch had 9 kills, 1 block, 3 assists and 23 digs; Charles Moot had 1 ace, 8 kills, 4 blocks, 1 assist and 22 digs:

Coxsackie-Athens 0

Coxsackie-Athens dropped a 5-0 decision to Cairo-Durham in Thursday’s Patroon Conference bowling match.

Collin Kreplin bowled a personal best of 191 with a 376 triple for C-A. Connor Jackson bowled the night’s high game of 198 with a 434 triple. Lots of improvement within the Riverhawks team allowed for multiple bowlers having the opportunity to put points on the board including Brody Robinson, Robert Carl, Josh Merchant and Darin Vail.

Solid performances from Joe Cooper, John Luvera and Landen Clark rounded out the match.

The Riverhawks take on Hudson at the Catskill Lanes on Tuesday.

Maple Hill 5,

Taconic Hills 0

Maple Hill blanked Taconic Hills, 5-0, in Thursday’ Patroon Conference bowling match.

Male Hill rolled games of 990, 964 and 1,045 for a total pinfall of 2,999. Taconic Hills hit a 607, 606 and 614 for 1,827

Stephan Macykowskie led the Wildcats with a 225-577. Brayden Jause fired a 185-484 for the Titans.
