STOCKBRIDGE — Berkshire Botanical Garden, 5 West Stockbridge Road, Stockbridge, Mass., presents the online program Organic Vegetable Gardening 4-5 p.m. Jan. 13. Led by Maria Zordan, co-owner and operator of MX Morningstar Farm, this online course will include discussion of seed selection, seeding schedules, bed preparation and successful planting practice. Students will complete a vegetable garden design to be implemented at their own homes. There will also be an optional farm visit in early March. HUDSON — Is decluttering and getting organized a perennial resolution of yours? Then you’ll want to attend this Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia Greene Counties program to provide you with the momentum and tools to tackle it for good. This free program, which takes place 6:30-7:30 p.m. Jan. 14 via Zoom, will help you get ready to clear the clutter, identify what to do with the clutter, how to organize what’s left and ways to keep clutter to a minimum. This program is being presented by Theresa Mayhew, Family and Consumer Science Resource Educator, and is being co-sponsored by the D.R. Evarts Library in Athens. CHATHAM — A Health Care Navigator will be available 1-4 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Chatham Public Library, 11 Woodbridge Ave., Chatham. Navigators assist individuals, families, small businesses and small business employees in Columbia and Greene counties with shopping for, comparing, and enrolling in quality affordable health insurance, including Medicaid and Child Health Plus, through New York State of Health: The Official Health Plan Marketplace. Navigators can also assist with applying for financial assistance to help pay for coverage. Navigator services are free of charge.
