To the editor:

It seems more and more of the same on social media, the news and conversation at the coffee counter. Folks just can’t seem to get enough drama! But, there is some sunshine out there and when that sunshine wants to break through there is always that little black cloud that wants to blot it out. I’m attracted to sunshine people. Who are the sunshine people? Those who smile with genuine glow. Those who are ready to help out of love. Someone who speaks truth and has no fear in speaking it. When they enter into a room it’s like the sun just came out. Sally Hogan is one of these folks! We can’t put these lights out!! We need more folks like her that care about thier community!! Roaches don’t like when the light goes on. They scurry. They prefer to do things in the dark where it’s hidden. Yuck! I don’t like bugs! Be a ray of sunshine!! And let the sun shine in!! Shine on Sally Hogan! Stand strong on all that makes you shine! When it rains, open your umbrella and sing! Loud and strong. Don’t let the bugs drag you down. Keep on keeping on!
