HUDSON — Maple Hill overcame a five-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat Hudson, 46-41, in Friday’s Patroon Conference boys basketball game.
Hudson (7-2 Patroon, 8-3 overall) gt off to a fast start, taking a 16-6 lead by the end of the first quarter. Maple Hill closed the gap to 22-20 at halftime, but surged ahead, 32-31, by the end of the third quarter.
Brady Cole was Maple Hill’s top scorer with 15 points.
Keith Robinson had 15 points for Hudson. Malaky Payton contributed 13.
Hudson hosts Chatham and Maple Hill goes to Catskill on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

GREENVILLE — Daheem Wilson and Jay Chaplin combined for 54 points to highight Watervliet’s 100-44 Patroon Conference boys basketball victory over Greenville on Friday.
Wilson dropped 28 and Caplin finished with 26 for the Cannoneers, who built quarterly leads of 28-6, 51-20 and 82-36. Matthew Wistuk added 17 points and Brett Burke contributed 12.
Cody Thompson led Greenville with 17 points.
Greenville hosts Coxsackie-Athens and Watervliet entertains Taconic Hills on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

GERMANTOWN — Germantown earned its second Patroon Conference boys basketball win of the season on Friday, defeating Coxsackie-Athens, 58-51.
The Clippers host Renssleaer and Coxsackie-Athens goes to Greenville on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Ichabod Crane 79, OT
VALATIE — Alex Schmidt scored a career-high 36 points, but Ichabod Crane dropped a hard-fought 81-79 overtime decision to Schalmont in Friday’s Colonial Council boys basketball game.
Schalmont broke away from a 14-14 first quarter tie to go up 41-34 by halftime and still led 57-52 after three. Ichabod crne fought back toeven the score with a furious fourth quarter rally to send the game to overtime, but the Sabres outscored the Riders, 11-9, in the extra period to escpe with the win.
Schmidt also had seven rebounds and three assists for Ichabod Crane, Quinn Rapport, who drained key free throws in the closing seconds of regulation, had 17 points and three steals, Austin Race had seven points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, Jason Borrelli chipped in with seven points and Jack Mulllins had four points, five rebounds, eight assists and four steals.
Isiah Smith topped Schalmont with 22 points. Ryan Woodrow added 20.
Ichabod Crane hosts Cohoes on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

HUDSON — Maple Hill had three players reach double figures in scoring in Friday’s 57-37 Patroon Conference girls basketball victory over Hudson.
Sydney Rogers scored 14 points for Maple Hill, which held quarterly leads of 14-10, 25-15 and 46-28. Addi Loszynski added 11 points ad Rachel Frazier had 10.
Amya Moore was Hudson’s top scorer with 14 points. Gabby Logue contributed 11.
Hudson travels to Chatham and Maple Hill hosts Catskill on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

COXSACKIE — Baileigh Briski poured in 25 points to spark Coxsackie-Athens to a 52-16 vicitory over Germantown in Friday’s Patroon Conference girls basketball game.
The Riverhawks built a 19-2 lead after one quarter and never looked back, extending their advantage to 26-6 at halftime and 43-10 through three quarters.
Riley Sitcer added 17 points to C-A’s cause.
Marissa Cidras had six points for Germantown.
Coxsackie-Athens hosts Greenville and Germantown travels to Rensselaer on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

SCHENECTADY — Karissa Antoine scored 31 points as Schalmont came from behind to defeat Ichabod Crane, 53-48, in Colonial Council girls basketball action on Friday.
Ichabod Crane took an 18-6 after one quarter of action and was up 28-18 at halftime, before Schalmont caught fire in the second half, outscoring the Riders 18-8 in the third stanza and 17-12 in the fourth to pull out the victory.
Arianna Brandon followed Antoine in scoring for the Sabres with 11 points.
Carolina Williams led the Riders with 24 points. Ashly Ames had 13.
Ichabod Crane travels to Cohoes on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
