Schalmont forfeited fifth singles and second doubles, making the overall match score 7-0.

CHATHAM — Waterford posted a 6-1 victory Chatham in Wednesday’s Patroon Conference girls tennis action.


Singles: Isabella D’Ambro (Waterford) defeated Hannah Spock (Chatham), 8-3; 2S: Katelyn Seguin (Waterford) defeated Callie Barlow (Chatham), 10-8; Mackenzie Fletcher (Waterford) defeated Bella Spencer (Chatham), 8-4; Emma Crosby (Chatham) defeated Julia Kinney (Waterford), 8-1; Sarah Moriarity (Waterford) won by forfeit, 8-0.

Doubles: Cierra Daubney & Jenna Lennox (Waterford) defeated Carissa Palladino & Cristianna Gearing (Chatham), 8-2; Emily Fanniff & Gabriella Gagliardi (Waterford) won by forfeit, 8-0.


ENY Blackhawks 14

South Colonie 4

COLONIE — Seven pitchers combined to throw a three-hitter with nine strikeouts as the ENY Blackhawks 14U wrapped up the Fall Travel Baseball season with a 14-4 victory over Colonie on Wednesday.

Max Frering, Gabe Carpenter, Gavin Hartka, Dom Pelizza, Sam Buquet, Jacob Macfarlane and Brandon Rossano all had a turn on the mound for the Blackhawks.

Kyle Danforth led a 14-hit attack with a double, single and two RBI. Frering added a double and single with an RBI, Rossano and Pelizza both had two singles and two RBI, Tyler Peck contributed two singles, Hartka, Buquet and Macfarlane all had a single and an RBI and Carpenter singled.

The Blackhawks finish the Fall season with a 7-4 record.
