HUDSON — Alayna Fletcher scored five goals to highlight Maple Hill’s 9-0 victory over Hudson in Tuesday’s Patroon Conference girls soccer game at Hudson High School.

Fletcher scored four of her goals (34:06, 28:21, 17:42, 12:58) in the fist half. Bella Thomas (15:30) and Rachel Frazier (:45)also connected in the opening half to make it a 6-0 game.

Eva Hirschoff (36:36) opened the scoring in the second half, followed by goals from Fletcher (32:09) and April Jacobs (23:37).

Fletcher added two assists for the Wildcats. Thomas had three assists, Hirschoff had two and Taylor Aubin one.

Maple Hill outshot Hudson, 25-1, and held a 10-1 edge in corner kicks.

Wildcats goalkeeper Abby Szklenka recorded the shutout with one save. Hudson’s Darrielle Johnson stopped 17 shots.

Maple Hill visits Taconic Hills on Friday at 4:15 p.m., while Hudson hosts Greenville on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.


Chatham 3, Germantown 1

CHATHAM — Addi Perry scored two goals to power Chatham to a 3-1 non-league victory over Germantown in Tuesday’s non-league girls soccer game.

Kamryn Hanson had Chatham’s other goal. Gabby Fisher had an assist.

Kali Soltano scored Germantown’s lone goal with an assist from Ayla Brehse.

Chatham goalkeeper Sarah Harrison had two saves. Germantown’s Adele Heuer turned away nine shots.

Chatham travels to Coxsackie-Athens on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.


C-A, Greenville post two wins

HUDSON — Coxsackie-Athens and Greenville both defeated Hudson 15-Inc. in Patroon Conference boys and girls cross country on Tuesday at Hudson High School.

GREENPORT — The Hawthorne Valley boys picked up three Patroon Conference cross country wins on Tuesday at the Olana State Historic site.

Hawthorne Valley defeated Catskill, Taconic Hills and Hunter Tannersville, all of which were incomplete.

All four teams in the girls meet ran with incomplete squads.
