EAST DURHAM — Damien Fiducia poured in 31 points to lead unbeaten Greenville to a 69-49 victory over Cairo-Durham in Monday’s Patroon Conference boys basketball game.

Fiducia hit six three-pointers for the Spartans 3-0, 4-0), who pulled away from a 27-23 halftime edge with a 26-13 run in the third quarter.

Tim Biernack contributed nine points to the Spartans’ cause. James Mitchell had seven.

Ethan Phillips scored 15 points for Cairo-Durham (0-3, 0-4). Alek Wagor added nine and Armando Salvatore had eight.

EAST DURHAM — Arianna Myers scored 30 points to help Cairo-Durham post a 58-27 victory over Greenville in Monday’s Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

The Mustangs led 14-7 after one quarter of play and widened the gap to 31-17 and 47-25 through three quarters.

Anna James had 10 points for Cairo-Durham. Mikayla mudge chipped in with eight.

Natalie Krasney and Caitlyn Silk each had six points for Greenville.

Macayla Sparacino and Sydney cooper each had six points to lead Taconic Hills.

CHATHAM — Chatham boys varsity volleyball team lost to New Lebanon on Monday, 3-0.

The Tiders posted winning scores of 29-27, 25-21 and 25-18.

“Mental errors hurt tonight,” Chatham coach Matt Torrey said. “We’re a young team that isn’t thinking volleyball right now.”

CRARYVILLE — Taconic hills earned a 3-1 victory over Germantown in Monday’s Patroon Conference boys volleyball match.

The Titans took the first two games, 25-16 and 25-18, dropped the third, 25-22, then took the fourth, 25-20, to close out the match.

For Taconic Hills, Adonias Mercado had 12 digs, 7 kills and 2 aces; Kris Gardella 6 aces, 5 digs and 5 assists; Izac Jennings 5 digs, 3 kills, 3 aces; Ryan Wilson 4 kills, 3 assists and 2 aces.
