Matt Thorsen led the Panthers (3-1 Patroon, 4-1 overall) with 17 points. Tobias Jeralds had 12 and Kyle Jackson 11.

Robbie Hughes scored 11 points for Coxsackie-Athens (1-3 Patroon, 1-4 overall).

Chatham led 14-7 after one quarter, 34-11 at halftime and 59-31 after three.

Chatham hosts Cairo-Durham and Coxsackie-Athens goes to Hudson on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

GREENVILLE — Bryn Fitzmaurice drained seven 3-pointers and finished with 27 points to spark Greenville to a 70-17 victory over Watervliet in Monday’s Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

The Spartans jumped out to a 17-4 after one quarter and widened the gap to 37-14 at halftime and 51-16 through three quarters.

Taryn Silk added 18 points to the Spartans’ cause, including three 3-pointers. Emily smith had 11.

Zole Joyner led Watervliet with 12 points.

Greenville (3-0) Patroon hosts Catskill on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

CRARYVILLE — Izzabell Bosko scored 18 points to lead Taconic Hills to a 37-31 victory over Cairo-Durham in Monday’s Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

The Titans trailed 7-3 after one quarter, but surged ahead 16-15 at halftime and led 29-23 by the end of the third quarter.

Mckenzie Sherburne and McKayla Mudge both had 12 points for Cairo-Durham.

Cairo-Durham (0-2 Patroon) hosts Hudson on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., while Taconic Hills (1-3 Patroon, 1-4 overall) travels to Rensselaer on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

GERMANTOWN — Chatham earned a 50-15 victory over Germantown in Monday’s non-league girls basketball game.

Abby Taylor led Chatham with 15 points. Jahnyah Armstorng added 11.

Chatham (2-1 Patroon, 3-1 overall) hosts Coxsackie-Athens on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

VALATIE — Ichabod Crane posted a 3-1 victory over Taconic Hills in Monday’s Patroon Conference boys volleyball action.

The Riders took the first set, 25-23, lost the second, 25-21, then swept the next two, 25-17 and 25-20, to win the match.

For ICC: Eric Holmberg 29 assists, 2 kills and 2 aces; Paul Zietsman 15 kills, 3 blocks, 3 aces, and 2 digs; Topher Pelesz 8 kills, 4 aces and 7 digs; Luke Desmonie 6 kills and 3 aces; Caden Tiernan 4 kills, 6 digs and 1 ace; Connor McDarby 1 kill; Owen Carpenter 1 dig and 1 ace.

CHATHAM — Chatham edged Hudson, 3-2, in Monday’s Patroon Conference volleyball match.

After Hudson won the first set, 25-17, Chatham came back to win the next two, 25-23 and 25-23. Hudson evened things up with a 25-19 win in game four, but the Panthers took the fifth and deciding set, 15-8.

For Chatham: Ryan Wilson 10 kills and 5 blocks; Ethan Boyle 5 kills and 4 aces; Vincent Marasco 4 kills and 3 aces; Evan Groom 6 kills and 1 ace.

BOWLING

Hudson 3, Chatham 2

Zach Porreca fired a 227-637 to lead Hudson past Chatham, 3-2, in Monday’s Patroon Conference bowling match.

Hudson had games of 877, 825 and 998 for a total pinfall of 2,700. Chatham rolled a 941, 878 and 845 for 2,664.

Tyler Finkle had a 192-477 for the Bluehawks. Dylan McDonald added a 144-406.

LJ Morse had a big day for Chatham, firing a 253 single en route to a 716 triple.

Jordan Fischer had a 178-451 for the Panthers. Chris Hayes tossed a 176-440 and Hayden Bennett hit a 154 single.
