CASTELTON — Maple Hill posted a 60-6 victory over Cairo-Durham in Thursday’s Patroon Conference wrestling match.

James Colvin (145) and Anthony Berrios (215) won their match by pin to lead the Wildcats.

Adam Schlosser (138) recorded Cairo-Durham’s lone win, pinning Devin spring in 4:42.

VALATIE — Ichabod Crane earned its fifth win of the year against just one loss, defeating Greenville, 3-0, in Thursday’s PAtroon Conference boys volleyball match.

The Riders won by scores of 25-14, 25-17 and 25-17.

For ICC: Erik Holmberg 35 assists and 1 ace; Paul Zietsman 17 kill and 2 aces; Topher Pelesz 9 kills, 2 aces and 8 digs; Luke Desmonie 11 kills.



Greenville 68, C-D 22

GREENVILLE — Bryn Fitzmaurice hit eight 3-pointers and finished with 24 points to lead Greenville to a 68-22 victory over Cairo-Durham in Thursday’s Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

The Spartans raced out to a 20-0 lead by the end of the first quarter and never looked back, widening the gap to 39-13 at halftime and 55-16 through three quarters.

Mikaela Crawley followed Fitzmaaurice in scoring for Greenville with 12 points. Taryn Silk added 11.

Mckenzie Sherburne and Makayla Mudge each had seven points for the Mustangs.
