VALATIE — Ichabod Crane earned a 3-1 victory over Chatham in Patroon Conference boys volleyball action on Tuesday.

The Riders (2-0) took the first two sets, 25-14 and 25-16, dropped the third, 25-21, then came back to claim the fourth, 25-12, to sew up the victory.

For ICC: Eric Holmberg had 29 assists and 5 aces, Paul Zietsman 11 kills and 4 aces, Topher Pelesz 17 kills and 2 aces, Luke Desmonie 4 kills and 3 blocks, Caden Tiernan 2 digs and 1 kill, Connor McDarby 2 digs and 1 kill and Gavin Betke 1 kill and 1 block.

Ryan Wilson had 6 kills and 4 blocks for Chatham. Evan Groom had 4 kills and 1 ace and Tyler Newton 4 aces.

Skyler Laurange fired a 231 single and LJ Morse had a 599 triple to highlight Chatham’s 5-0 Patroon Conference bowling victory over Taconic Hills on Tuesday.

The Panthers had a total pinfall of 2,815 to Taconic Hills’ 1,916.

Emma Braley added a 180 single for the Panthers.

Brayden Jause had a 207-442 to lead the Titans.
