HUDSON — Mike Dianda earned his first victory as Hudson girls varsity basketball coach on Friday, guiding the Bluehaks to a 44-32 Patroon Conference victory over Taconic Hills.

Choudmya Box led the Bluehawks with 12 points, three rebounds and two steals. Darriell Johnson added nine points, 10 rebounds and five steals and Gabby Logue had seven points and 10 rebounds.

Izzabell Bosko had 17 points for Taconic Hills.

Hudson (1-1) goes to Greenville on Wednesday at 630 p.m. and Taconic Hills (0-2) travels to Catskill on Fridy at 6:30 p.m.

Catskill 62, C-D 26

CATSKILL — Catskill jumped out to a 23-4 lead after one quarter and went on to defeat Cairo-Durham, 62-26, in Friday’s Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

The Cats were up 43-8 at halftime and 51-15 through three quarters.

Janay Brantley topped Catskill with 20 points. Hannah Konsul contributed 14.

Mackenzie Sherburne led Cairo-Durham with 15 points.

Catskill (2-0) travels to Ichabod Crane on Thursday at 6 p.m. and Cairo-Durham (0-1) hosts Greenville on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

CAIRO-DURHAM (26): Marche 1-0-2, Sherbrne 5-4-15, Mudge 2-3-7, Hall 1-0-2, Zacca 0-0-0. Totals 9-7-26.

Maple Hill 70, Chatham 43

CHATHAM — Alyssa Martin hit four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points to lead Maple Hill to a 70-43 victory over Chatham in Saturday’s Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

The Wildcats led 25-8 after one quarter,40-21 at halftime and 58-32 after three quarters.

Rachel Frazier contributed 13 points to Maple Hill’s cause. Bella Seeberger had 10.

Ally Engel was Chatham’s high scorer with 21 points. Abby Taylor added 18.

Chatham (0-1) goes to Rensselaer and Maple Hill hosts Albany Leadership on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
