Trey Smith/Greenville

Q: How did you fall in love with your sport?

A: fell in love with this game when I was young and I felt like the golf course was just my place to be.

Q: What’s your favorite moment as an athlete in that sport?

A: My favorite moment as a golfer had to be earlier this year playing in the Patroon Conference championship. Being there with my team was just an absolute riot.

Q: What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?

A: My favorite sports moment as a fan would have to be when Tiger won the Masters last year. It meant so much to both the sport and the world just seeing him overcome all the adversity he had faced.

Q: What athlete do you look up to the most and why?

A: Tiger, just the dominance and poise throughout his career and overcoming all the adversity.

Q: Best advice you’ve received from a coach, mentor or teammate in your sport?

A: My dad has told me from a young age that if I ever find the game unenjoyable and more of a burden then a sport than there is no reason to play. This has always both pushed me to be better and love the game.
