COXSACKIE - Chatham traveled to Coxsackie-Athens for the first regular season game of the COVID shortened season and the Indians came away with a 7-0 victory over their Patroon Conference rival.

Coxsackie-Athens was strong as it controlled the pace of play and dominated the 50/50 balls. With their aggressive style of play, the Indians were able to score 15 minutes into the game when Geddy Williams ripped a shot from 22 yards out, putting it over the keeper's head.
Nick Agovino netted two goals, with one coming off a beautiful free kick. Matt Buhrke scored the final goal of the first half, making it 4-0.
The second half wasn't much different as C-A overpowered a young, inexperienced Chatham team. C-A scored three more goals, as Keegan O'Callahan, Matt Buhrke, and Josiah Decker each netted one in the second half bringing the final score to 7-0.
C-A outshot Chatham, 19-1. Chatham's goalkeeper Noah Hutchenson made nine saves.
