To the editor:

I don’t understand the phase “person of color.” Does it include or exclude the color white? If a person’s race is important, then list it instead of using this phrase which omits one class of Americans. When a soldier is killed in action, they do not list their race, they show a photo, their age and service and how they were killed serving our country. The picture will show their race and gender, but most importantly that they were all American Soldiers.
