Whether it’s a serious medical condition or accident, or a Pandemic outbreak, EMTs and Paramedics are quietly and heroically performing lifesaving tasks in our communities every day.

EMS Week 2021 is being celebrated this year from the 16th of May to the 22nd. It is a national awareness week highlighting the vital services provided every day by the Emergency Medical Services professionals throughout every community in the United States. Here in our communities, we are lucky to be served by dedicated EMTs and Paramedics who give of themselves in many capacities to ensure that our lives are protected. Locally EMS is provided by a combination of highly trained and skilled paid and volunteer staff.Help us, help you. Learn CPR, know the warning signs for Stroke and Heart Attack. Make sure your address is clearly posted so we can easily find you when you need us.Many other outstanding agencies work alongside NDP to ensure that everyone has access to EMS when you need it most. Through the countless hours of training and overwhelming dedication of those who provide EMS, we have the outstanding service that we have in our communities. So no matter what uniform or clothing your local EMS provider wears, take a moment this week to let them know they are appreciated.
