To the editor:

You don’t have to look far to find that Patrick Nelson is the clear choice for State Senator of District 43. Nelson is committed to fighting for women’s reproductive rights and women’s health. He has been endorsed by both Planned Parenthood and CapitalWomen, the women’s political action committee of the Capital Region.

Meanwhile, his opponent Daphne Jordan was one of only six Senators who voted not to protect employees from discrimination or penalization based on their reproductive health decisions when the Senate voted on Bill S660, aka the “Boss Bill.” Jordan also voted against the people’s right to know what’s in their tampons and menstrual products, when she voted against Senate Bill S2387.

Patrick Nelson is the right choice for District 43. Vote for Nelson for State Senate and he will protect the constitutional reproductive health rights of all New Yorkers and fight for women’s health.

Nelson is holding three Virtual Town Halls in October so you can hear about his policies on reproductive rights or any of his other platforms, or ask him questions yourself. Register at
