To the editor:

Jeffrey Judd stepped up to fight for Copake’s future in 2014 when he, as a new member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, cast the decisive vote to approve the new Catamount development. He did that only after reviewing every document available to the Town on the proposal with considerable legal expertise. His opinion proved correct, evidenced by the successful new outdoor recreational facility.

Last year Jeffrey again came forward to serve the Town in his campaign for Town Judge. He could have won that election if only five more Democrats had supported him. This year Jeffrey has stepped forward to fill the vacancy on the Copake Town Board.

Jeffrey was first introduced to the Copake community as a member of the Taconic Stage Company. He is now an active member of the Grange, volunteering his time and money to serve our community.

A Copake resident for 14 years, Jeffrey has been serving on the Zoning Board of Appeals for six years, most recently as Vice Chair. He has been a practicing attorney and experienced litigator for 30 years. His legal and ZBA experience will be a tremendous asset to the Town, especially concerning the 500-acre solar farm proposal.

Because Jeffrey Judd produces results, I wholeheartedly endorse him for Copake Town Board. Please join me and vote for ROW A All The Way.
