To the editor:

People like to write letters to complain about what they do not like about a situation. Instead, they should give credit where credit is due.

That is why I would like to give credit to CMH employee Carol Rivera for all her help regarding my husband’s recent stay at CMH.

When we arrived at the emergency department, which, needless to say, was busy, she and everyone else there was available right from the beginning. CMH is fortunate to have such a dedicated employee. Every time I thanked Carol for something she did, her answer was “I’m just doing my job. It is nothing.”

But it truly was “not nothing” to us. It was something. Carol is a ray of sunshine and very humble and was comforting to me. She deserves to be “Employee of the Month.”

Thank you for having her as an employee at CMH. She does your hospital well.

With much gratitude,

Barbara and Bob Hoffmann
