Soft Paws: Shelter at Home Raffle raises more than $100,000

Contributed photoMeet Truffles, pictured with CGHS Shelter Manager Jessica Farkas. Truffles is a two-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix who’s been calling the shelter home for over a year. He’s grown up with us here, loving every person he comes into contact with. Unfortunately, he just tends to be a little rambunctious, so Truffles needs a home that’s prepared for his energy. He can’t be placed with small children for that reason. He also tends to be a little overwhelming for certain dogs, but likes others with similar energy. He’s super smart and has done incredible with training at the shelter.

Our faithful shelter supporters have outdone themselves again! The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA’s Shelter at Home Raffle raised more than $100,000. We are so humbled and thankful for this financial success.
