Greene County Department of Human Services Senior Nutrition Program menu for the week of Jan. 11 – Jan. 15 is as follows: Monday—Baked lemon fish, brown rice pilaf, broccoli, chocolate mousse; Tuesday—Chicken Parmesan, pasta with sauce, cauliflower, fruit cocktail; Wednesday—Meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, vanilla cupcake; Thursday—Chili con Carne, brown rice, fresh green salad, fresh fruit; Friday—Pork chop with gravy, braised cabbage, sweet potato, fresh fruit. All persons over 60 and spouses are invited to receive. Suggested donation for noon time meal is $4. Menu is subject to change based on product availability and circumstance. The menu will be the meal that is delivered to all Greene County homebound meal recipients. Since we are still under COVID guidelines, centers are not open for congregate meals. It is take out only. Please remember to call the center at least a day in advance to order. If you have signed up for a meal and become unable to pick up your meal, please call as soon as you can to cancel. This helps reduce food waste. Sites are closed on legal holidays and inclement weather. Mountain Top Senior Service Center is located at the Jewett Municipal Building, Route 23C, Jewett, 518-263-4392.
