Congratulations to the Town of Lexington Fire/Rescue Company placing first for Best Appearing Firematic Unit in County 5-8 in Line at the 135th Annual Greene County Volunteer Firemen’s Association Convention Dress Parade Sept. 9 hosted by Coxsackie Hose Company No. 3. Thank you to all the volunteer heroes for their service.

Jane and Joe Concato continue their passion to assist those impacted by brain injury across the Mountain Top and throughout the Hudson Valley. On Sept. 9, they participated in the annual Brain Injury Association of New York State (BIANYS) March On for Brain Injury fundraising event. Their team, “Hudson Heroes,” raised more than $2,000. The walk was held at Walkway Over the Hudson which was one of three locations across New York state. The hundreds of attendees where there to share stories, support each other, obtain information from vendors and raise funds for BIANYS to continue their mission. A great time was had by all enjoying the vista and sharing hot dogs and burgers that were available. If someone you know is imacted by brain injury and would like assistance or more information, reach out to Jane and Joe Concato at 518-989-1019 or jjconc@gmail.com. Donations to Hudson Heroes and BIANYS are also gladly accepted at any time.
