Philomena (Bucci) Scalley

Our beloved “Nanny”, Philomena (Bucci) Scalley age 90, of Hudson, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday March 22, 2020. She was born February 4, 1930 and was the daughter of Fredrick and Theresa (Molinksi) Bucci.

A life-long resident of Hudson, Philomena loved being outdoors, gardening, ice fishing and spending summers on Saratoga Lake with her husband, family and friends. She enjoyed puzzles and could always been found in the early evening working through the daily jumble and word searches, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and watching the Yankees.

Philomena is survived by her twin sister Joan (Floyd “Lully”) Turek of Florida, her beloved grandchildren Louis (Deidre) Rolon and Angela (Jodie) Rolon and her great-grandchildren Hailey, Louis Jr. and Attley. She leaves behind nieces, nephews, additional family and friends who will sadly miss her. She was predeceased by her loving husband John Scalley, her daughter Linda, husband Louie Rolon and sister Marion (Charles) Leggett.

In light of current events the family is holding a private memorial. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations may be made to The Community Hospice of Columbia and Greene Counties, 47 Liberty Street, Catskill, New York 12414.
