Athens- Maryann J. Patsky (Cavallaro)., age 71 passed away Monday June 5th, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Maryann was the daughter of the late Paul Cavallaro and Josephine Cavallaro (Nee Como). Maryann is survived by her loving husband Anthony, son Christopher (Emilie) grandson and her Brother Paul Cavallaro and along with many loving relatives and friends. Maryann was born in Brooklyn NY. She was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Brooklyn College and Fordham University where she earned two master’s degrees. Maryann spent over 40 years in private banking retiring from Key Bank in Albany NY. Maryann bought a weekend house in Athens NY 1984 and married Anthony in 1986 and son Christopher was born in 1989. Maryanne was active in the community as a former member and treasure of Columbia- Greene Chapter of Catholic Charities as well as a member of the Village of Athens Planning Board. In 2020 she earned the best title yet, “Nonna” when her grandson Salvatore was Born in Albany NY. Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the W.C Brady’s Sons, Inc. Funeral Home, 97 Mansion Street, Coxsackie, N.Y, 12051.Funeral services will be held at 4:45 P.M. at the funeral home the same day with Fr. Joe O’Brien officiating.
