Margaret L. Busa, died peacefully on 11/19/21 at the Fireman’s Home in Hudson NY. Born in Meriden CT, she was the last surviving Lombardo sister. Marge is survived by her sons Steven (Heidi), David (Diane) and Bruce (Frances), as well as her favorite, “daughter”/niece Susan VanEmburgh. Grandchildren Matt, Tyler (Whitney), Kevan, Kathryn, Heather (Joe) Collins. Great-grandchildren Daisy, Toriah, Aben, Liam and Samuel. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Margaret Lombardo, sisters Gloria Lorenzo, Judy Young and Joyce Tempe. A 50+ year member of the Churchtown Fire Company, where she cooked for many events and was famous for her venison stew at the wild game dinners. She worked as Hostess for many years at the Rigor Hill Diner where she met many celebrities. As an avid Yankees Fan, one of her greatest thrills was meeting George Steinbrenner and getting an autographed team hat. Please make donations to the Churchtown Fire Company or the FASNY Fireman’s Home, Hudson NY. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday Dec. 19, 1-4pm @ Churchtown Firehouse.
