On Tuesday October 12th, 2021, Maggie (Tootsie) of Hudson, NY peacefully joined our Creator after a brief illness. She was born in Dinwiddie, Virginia to the late Maggie and Edward Winfield on October 28, 1951. In addition to her parents her brother Edward Lee Winfield predeceased her.
Maggie worked as a Youth Facilitator for many years. In her later years she worked for various agencies as a caretaker for the elderly. Tootsie was a very outgoing, outspoken individual who will always be remembered for her candor and laughter.
Maggie leaves to mourn her passing her three children; Issac (Kara) Winfield of Albany, NY, Jacquay Winfield of Naugatuck, CT and Chazz Winfield Cobbins of Hudson, NY, four siblings; John Winfield of Hudson, NY, Melvin (Juanita) Winfield of Albany NY, Alicia Winfield of Naugatuck, CT and Sheena White of Troy, NY. Five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 01:00 pm, at Bates & Anderson - Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson, NY. Visitation will precede the service starting at Noon.
