Lois Mae Teator, 89, of Hudson, passed away Wednesday September 1, in Ghent, NY. Born November 12, 1931 in Hudson, NY, she is the daughter of the late Sterling and Frances (Folmsbee) Teator.

Lois was a Senior Clerk in the Columbia County Clerk’s office for over 40 years. She was a member of the First Reformed Church and participated in the choir. She was also a member of the Treble Choraleers Choir, and was a devoted New York Yankees fan.

She will be dearly missed by her niece and nephew Betty and Samuel Buffa Jr., great niece Trisha Buffa, great great niece and nephew HollyMae Buffa and Duke Huyck III, her cousin Claudia Teator, and dear friend Bea Hardy. Lois was predeceased by her sisters Frances (Howard) Scutt , and Janice (Samuel Sr.) Buffa. In addition to her parents, Lois was predeceased by her nephew Paul Buffa.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday September 7, at 2:30pm from the Bates & Anderson-Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home. A visitation hour beginning at 1:30pm will precede the funeral service. Interment will be in Cedar Park Cemetery.
