Kenneth J. Main

Kenneth J. Main, age 72 years, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2022, at his home in Earlton, NY.

He was born on September 19, 1950, in The Bronx, NY.

He is predeceased by his parents, Phillip and Vivian (Muller) Main, and his brother, Robert Main.

Ken is survived by his niece Stacey Krause, his nephew Robert Main, Jr., a host of cousins, and the best friends a man could ask for.

During Kenny’s lifetime, he was employed in the maintenance field by Con Edison in NYC, retiring after 35 years of service. His generous heart also found joy in volunteering with the ASPCA.

Ken was a true outdoorsman and found great fulfillment in the richness of the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, enjoying lake, sea, and stream fishing, and loved deer hunting, boating, and camping. Kenny could often be found on a summer day enjoying the beautiful views of nature from his deck, singing along to 50s music with his beloved companion, Shadow, by his side.

Ken loved spending time with family and friends. He was always eager to show off his favorite eateries in town or enjoy Music in the Park, and is at the center of many treasured memories.

Visitation will be held at The W.C. Brady’s Sons, Inc. Funeral Home, 97 Mansion Street, Coxsackie, N.Y. 12051, on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.

Interment will follow in the family plot of the St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery, Route 385, Coxsackie, NY, 12051.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenneth’s memory may be made to and will be appreciated to The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 2 Pine West Plaza, -202, Albany, N.Y., 12205, or to The Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA, 111 Humane Society Road, Hudson, N.Y., 12534.
