James Charles Ogden, Jr. “Jimmy Mack” age 54 years, of Cairo, New York, and Florida, passed away on May 11, 2021, in Ocala, Florida.
He was born on April 24, 1967, in Staten Island, N.Y. and is the son of James Charles Ogden, Sr. of North Carolina and Linda Gail Burke of Catskill, New York.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his children Heather Annesse of Staten Island, New York, and his son James Paul Ogden of Catskill, New York, two sisters Lisa Ann Barberi of Cairo, New York and Melissa Ogden of Texas and one brother Joseph Hall of Catskill, New York. James is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brother Charles Ogden and his sister Monica Reese.
During James’ lifetime, he was employed at Turecamo Costal and Harbor Towing Corporation, which was privately owned, as a deck hand for many years. After retiring from Turecamo, James moved to Cairo, New York, in 1991, and purchased a home in the Cairo area. He was a resident of both Cairo and Florida.
James loved fishing music and riding A.T.V.’s. He also loved spending time with his family, and he was a jokester.
Memorial services will be held at Richards Funeral Home, 29 Bross Street, Cairo, New York, 12413, on Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held the same day at the funeral home at 6:30 P.M. Condolences may be made at www.richardsfuneralhomeinc.net.
