Irvin Nawrocki, 83, of Germantown, passed away Monday August 3, 2020 in Albany, NY. Born May 21, 1937 in Hudson, NY he is the son of Joseph and Alexandra (Alice) Jackabowski Narwocki.
Irvin was employed with NYS DOT and retired after 28 years of dedicated service. He along with his father were skilled mechanics, and that was evident as small engine repair experts known throughout Germantown. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, antique cars, and an occasional casino trip, where he always appeared to leave a winner. He will always be remembered by his trademark cowboy hat. He served Honorably in the United States Navy from 1956-1959. Irvin’s greatest love was his family. He cherished his grand and great grandchildren, and his bond with his daughter Jennifer was unbreakable.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter and son in law Jennifer and David Comesanas, grandchildren Kristina, David, and Nicolas Comesanas, and great grand children Leah and Avery. Also, his sisters Janice Clow, Dorothy Brown and Venecia Rubino, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Irvin was predeceased by his wife Gloria Nawrocki, brother Joseph Nawrocki, and sister Mary Grand.
Funeral services from the Bates & Anderson Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home are Thursday August 6, at 12:30pm. Visitation hours at the funeral home are Wednesday from 4-6pm. Interment will be in Linlithgo Cemetery.
