Grace E. Drbul

Grace E. Drbul, 78, of Livingston, NY, passed away on the morning of January 28, 2020 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on July 5, 1941, in Rhinebeck, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Schaffer) Doyle. Grace worked as a manager at Kmart in Poughkeepsie, having retired after 32 years of service. She enjoyed attending yard sales, fishing, gardening, writing poetry and cooking for her family. In her 30’s Grace was awarded a medal for best in New York State in Woman’s Archery. She also enjoyed taking trips to casinos with her husband, Paul.

Grace married Paul Drbul on July 20, 1985 in Hudson, NY, he survives at their home. In addition to her husband, Grace is survived by her daughter, Lori Rockefeller (Dan) Proper; her step daughter, Lisa (Don) Stuber; her step son, Paul (Terri) Drbul; her grandchildren, Krystle and David Skinner, Samantha Pugsley, Paul G. Drbul and Zachary Van Wagner; her great granddaughter, Anjelina Skinner; in addition to many loved ones and friends. In addition to her parents, her brother, David Righetti and her stepdaughter, Tereasa Van Wagner, predecease Grace.

Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes, Red Hook on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 1 to 4PM. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made in Grace’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, www/stjude.org/memorial.
