Deborah Murray


Deborah Murray, 70, of Durham, NY passed away on January 10, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at Columbia Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Deborah spent her entire life caring and giving to people. She was a devoted, loving, and compassionate daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and wife. At a young age she dedicated herself to the care of her ill parents and then raised her three siblings. Deborah married Donald Murray where they added four more children to their home. In later years, Deborah dedicated her life to caring for her grandchildren. In addition to always loving and caring for her family, Deborah also enjoyed fishing and visits to the casino.

She is predeceased by her daughter Amanda K. Murray. She is survived by her husband Donald Murray, her daughters Barbara Kuhn and Grace Robinson, her son Richard Murray, her brother Charles Albertson, and her sisters Donna Didomenico and Linda Wayman. Deborah is also survived by her nine grandchilden that were the apple of her eye: Connor and Logan Kuhn, Lindsay and Matthew Wayman, Patrick and Alondra DiDomenico, Brielle Robinson, James Conarpe III and Ronan Murray. She was also adored by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 from 2-4pm at Richards Funeral Home of the Mid-Hudson Valley Inc., 29 Bross St., Cairo, NY. A prayer service will take place at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, please help in caring for children by donating to the Cairo Durham Elementary School Happy Feet program or to Cairo Rotary.
