Catherine (Cathy) A. Voulo


Catherine (Cathy) A. Voulo was granted her angel wings on April 23, 2021. Born August 8, 1946 in New York, N.Y. She was the loving daughter of the late Giacamo “John” Biondo and the late Ann Giacalone Biondo. She was predeceased by her son James Voulo, Jr., sister Marion Tetta and brother Stephen Biondo.

A graduate from Queens Beauty Institute in 1965; Catherine spent her life enjoying her family, playing cards, computer games and scratching her lottery tickets. She was happy to be sipping on her coffee and enjoyed cooking for the love of her life and husband of the past 56 years “Jimmy” as well as caring for their beloved dog Jamie.

Catherine is survived by her husband James and recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Also survived by her children Anthony Voulo, his children Morgan and Maryssa (Tommy)and son River, daughter Barbara Auger (Allen) their children Brandon, Adam and Dylan, Daughter Erica Ahearn (Maurice), her children Abbey, Taylor, Jenna and Kaylee and daughter Amanda Wenzel (Tom) and their children Madison and Nicholas, as well as James Jr’s children Michael (Monica) and daughter Mia. Andrea and her children Jodi, Madelyn and Ethan. Joseph and her two brothers Michael and Jackie Biondo.

Services have been entrusted to Richards Funeral Home of the Hudson Valley, Inc., 29 Bross Street, Cairo, New York, 12413.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M., with services being held at the funeral home at 3:30 P.M., the same day, with Pastor Nelson officiating. Due to the restrictions due to the Covid19 Pandemic, the wearing of face masks, social distancing, etc. will be strictly adhered to for everyone’s protection. Condolences may be made at
