Beverly L. Syzdek

Beverly L. Syzdek, 70, longtime resident of Hudson, passed away peacefully March, 5, 2020. She was born in Hudson, on March 22, 1949, the daughter of the late Harry G. and Beverly (Frost) Warner.

She graduated from Hudson High School, then went on to attend SUNY Plattsburgh, before earning her Masters from Russell Sage College. She was a kindergarten teacher in the Claverack School prior to her retirement. Beverly loved her cats, and gardening. She was a devoted daughter who retired so that she could care for her father. She will be remembered for her strong will, independence and caring personality. Beverly is survived by two children; Kathleen and her husband Charles Brown, and David and his wife Elizabeth Syzdek. Her five grandchildren; Jeremy, Ian, and Ashely Syzdek, and Andy and Teddy Brown. Also surviving is her brother; John Warner. In addition to her parents, Beverly is also predeceased by her paternal grandmother; Melicent (Payne) Warner.

Visitation will be Monday, March 9, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bates & Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson, NY. Beverly’s family wishes to thank her exceptional caregivers, Dolce, Shannon, Kammie, and Tony, as well as the Community Hospice of Columbia and Greene Counties.
