Alice Nania, loving mother and Nonna, longtime resident of The Greene County area, age 76 years, of Catskill, N.Y. passed away on February 8, 2023, at Columbia Memorial Hospital, Hudson, N.Y. She was born on May 27, 1946, in Brooklyn, N.Y. and is the daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Cori) Esposito. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband Salvatore in 2006, Angelo Bonura who was like a father figure to Alice for most of her life, and her two sisters Anna Ruperto and Michelina (Mickey) Busca. Survivors include her loving daughter Audrey Zimmer and her husband Leonard of Catskill, Susanne Lamott who was like a daughter to Alice, and her beloved granddaughter Leah Zimmer, nephew Angelo Ruperto, niece Donna Busca, two great nieces, several cousins and many other family relatives and friends. During her lifetime, Alice was wonderful homemaker, caretaker of her husband, and loved spending time with her family and especially her granddaughter. Alice loved going to church and she was a member of The Sacred Heart Church, Cairo, N.Y. Mass of The Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at The Sacred Heart Church, Mountain Avenue, Cairo, N.Y., 12413.
