Smoky blaze damages Coxsackie home

COXSACKIE — Fire caused damage to a house in Coxsackie on Monday night, but quick work by firefighters saved the structure.

At about 7:35 p.m., Greene County 911 sent Coxsackie Fire Company to 80 Lafayette Ave., after a caller reported there was a fire on the back porch of the home in the refrigerator. The caller said they were knocking on doors of the home but got no answer.
