CATSKILL — Catskill Police received at least seven reports of vehicle larcenies on Monday, Lt. Ronald Frascello said.

The larcenies occurred in the early morning hours on Monday in the east side of the village. All of the vehicles were unlocked. Loose change and other miscellaneous items were reported stolen, but nothing of great value, Frascello said.

Frascello declined to give out any details about the suspect or suspects, citing an ongoing investigation.

“If anyone has information to report to police, please come forward.” Frascello said. “Any information will be confidential.”

Frascello recommended that residents keep their vehicles locked.

“If they see somebody suspicious, they should contact the police,” he said.

No other incidents of this nature have happened recently, Frascello said.
