SAUGERTIES — A Greene County man was arrested Saturday on a felony drug charge, police said.
Dillon A. Gilbert, 28, of Acra, was arrested at 5:37 a.m. Saturday and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; and driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than 0.08%, an unclassified misdemeanor, according to Saugerties police.
Gilbert was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after he ran a red light on Route 32 in Saugerties, according to police.
“Incidental to his arrest, Gilbert was found to be in possession of two plastic baggies, one contianing Psilocybin mushrooms and the other a quantity of marijuana,” police said.
Gilbert had a blood-alcohol content of 0.12%, police said. The legal limit is 0.08%.
Gilbert is scheduled to appear in Saugerties Town Court on Jan. 22.
