HUDSON — Hudson Police are investigating reports of shots fired in the city on Saturday.

Police received numerous reports of shots being fired in the area of Cherry Alley and South 1st Street just before 5 p.m., according to Hudson Police Chief L. Edward Moore.

Police roped off and closed Cherry Alley for the investigation, and located several empty bullet casings, Moore said.

Law enforcement canvassed the area, interviewing residents and businesses in the vicinity. There have been no reported injuries, but the investigation is continuing, according to Moore.
