HUDSON — Come to the Hudson Food Festival on Saturday at the Henry Hudson Waterfront Park in Hudson.

The food festival, hosted by Columbia-Greene Media, will take place from noon to 6 p.m.

The festival will take place rain or shine and admission is free for all ages.

“We’re really looking forward to sharing this event with the community,” Columbia-Greene Media Publisher/Executive Editor/General Manager Mary Dempsey said Thursday. “We’re going to have great food and the weather is going to be great, so come on down.”

The annual event will host 31 vendor booths and 10 food trucks this year featuring Mexican, Caribbean, Greek, Ecuadorian cuisine, as well as seafood, fresh-squeezed lemonade, cotton candy, kettle corn, sausage and peppers, cupcakes, fried pickles, ice cream and burgers to name just a few of the foods that will be available. The festival will also feature two local breweries at the beer tent.

Local band Jarrod will perform classic rock and roll, kids can get their faces painted by Stellar Face and Body Art and check out fun balloon animals with Tashi the Clown.
