NEW LEBANON — The Seniors Ministry of Immaculate Conception/St. Joseph’s Parish is hosting an important discussion with Stephentown past chief and current Fire District Commissioner, Rik McClave, as he describes changes in the present response capabilities of our local emergency medical services (EMS). The program will be held at 1 p.m.Jan. 24 in the Immaculate Conception Parish Hall, 732 Route 20, New Lebanon. He will explain some of the major factors in the loss of EMS in many towns along the eastern borders of rural Columbia and Rensselaer counties.
