HUDSON — Come out and support this benefit concert for Perfect Ten Hudson held by Tommy Stinson’s COWBOYS IN THE CAMPFIRE and special guests Ian O’Neil from Deer Tick and Diane Gentile and The Gentlemen. This (free!) show will be held at THE PARK THEATER in Hudson, NY at 723 Warren St., on Sept. 11 starting at 7 p.m. Donations encouraged at the show where concert goers can also purchase signed posters.

Tommy Stinson, founding member of The Replacements, former and longtime bassist for Guns N Roses, also founder of Bash & Pop) and guitarist/lap steel player Chip Roberts make up the COWBOYS IN THE CAMPFIRE duo that has been performing for a number of years and recently performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. They have been working on their debut album which is slated for release later this year.

Perfect Ten Hudson is an after school program that benefits girls between the ages of 8-18. They are an independent non-profit organization committed to building respect, dignity, fairness, caring, equality and self-esteem with respect to the diverse life challenges of each girl.

In addition to the live performance, there is currently a silent online auction underway that also benefits Perfect Ten. Tommy has donated a number of items including a bass (and case) that accompanied him on several Guns N Roses tours, a jacket he wore on tour with GnR, record bags made from Replacements t-shirts and more. There are many other items to bid on including an art experience with Victoria Wyeth (granddaughter of Andrew Wyeth), a guitar signed by Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), an in home chef experience and lots of rock and roll memorabilia as well as local Hudson dining/entertainment/hotel packages. The auction is live until 11:55PM Sunday 9/12.

If you just feel like donating, Tommy says “DO it!” Just go to Venmo @perfecttenhudson. This organization is close to Tommy’s heart (his daughter participates) and he thanks you from the bottom of it.
