MAC-HAYDN RELEASES EPISODE 7 OF IN THE MEANTIME

CHATHAM — The Mac-Haydn Theatre has released the seventh episode of In The Meantime, a weekly webcast series hosted by Producing Artistic Director John Saunders, as part of the Mac-Haydn Online virtual programming initiative. The episode can be found at https://youtu.be/TwsWxiMH2Sg.

Episode 6 features Mac-Haydn Music Director Jillian Zack, last seen in the 2019 season as Music Director of Oklahoma!. Zack tells Saunders about her journey to becoming a pianist and vocal coach, first time music directing at the Mac-Haydn, recent Broadway debut and experience with pregnancy during quarantine.

As a gesture of support to the Mac-Haydn artistic community, the Mac-Haydn offers a 50/50 split of any donations to the Bright Future Fund that mention each episode’s guest for the week following their interview. Jill has announced that she will be directing her proceeds to The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, an organization which develops and advocates for evidence-based solutions to reduce gun injury and death in all its forms. Episodes of In The Meantime premiere on Fridays at 12pm on the Mac-Haydn Theatre YouTube channel. The series showcases notable Mac-Haydn alumni, discussing their artistic endeavors during quarantine as well as their past experiences working at the theatre. The Mac-Haydn Online programming initiative also includes “Mac-Haydn Mondays,” a weekly live stream from the theatre’s Instagram account (@machaydntheatre) on Mondays at 5pm.
