KINGSTON MUSICIANS COMEBACK

Lara Hope & Kingston Happenings Present:

KINGSTON — Kingston Happenings and The City of Kingston’s Distinguished Artist Lara Hope, proudly present the Kingston Musicians Comeback! With sponsorship from Ulster Savings Bank, this virtual event is a two part series airing June 17 and 24, highlighting some of the areas best talent, through interviews and original video performances. Both shows will be at 7pm, and streamed from the Kingston Happenings Facebook and Youtube pages. Each night will feature 10 performers.

Viewers can tune in to win gift cards from local businesses by answering Kingston-centric trivia questions in real time. All virtual donations made throughout the evening will go to Family Of Woodstock’s John Herald Fund, helping local artists and musicians in financial need.

The intent of the Kingston Musicians Comeback is to support local musicians who have been impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic. During this difficult time, musicians have not been able to perform to live audiences therefore affecting their livelihood. Many musicians rely on the booking, performing, touring, and selling of merchandise and tickets for their means of income. We see this event as a great way to make people aware of the treasure trove of musical talent we have in the area by allowing for fun, interactive events during which artists can perform for the local communities in a safe, virtual format.
