Hunter Mountain Film Festival 2020 Online Event Oct 23-25

This year’s HMFF 2020 (Hunter Mtn Film Festival) will be an online event, taking place on October 23, 24 and 25th.

Our Lifetime Achievement Award recipient is Karen Lynn Gorney (famously known for her part playing opposite John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever-the Dance Scene! Karen since then has been in countless theatre, tv and film productions. Including Clifford The Big Red Dog - coming out 2021, audience’s will remember her seeing her as a series regular on All My Children, guest star on Sopranos, Law & Order, Murder, as well as feature films- Men In Black, The Cradle will Rock and many many more.

Our Rising Star Award this year goes to an incredible up and coming actor, Alexei Bondar. Alexei recently wrapped as a series regular in Season 1 of Condor. Alexei can also be seen in Billions, The Blacklist, recurring on The Americans, Divorce, Madame Secretary to name a few.

This year’s festival will be co-hosted by Wayne Pyle & Chris Tighe. Their show, Roll the Credits is HMFF’s official video podcast. Starting on October 23rd you will be able to join in to watch some incredible interviews with our Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Karen Lynn Gorney, Alexei Bondar-Rising Star Award recipient, Brandon Morris & Adam Feingold from ABC’s For Life, Executive Film Producer and Educator Kevin Christoffersen, award-winning filmmaker Abigail Zealey Bess and award-winning playwright Holli Harms and HBO Creative Marketing Services Producer Justin Ferrato. And Coming soon will be Actor/Producer/Wrtier Eric Wolf and Actor/Producer Kristen Anne Ferraro, Grammy Award-winning Mastering Engineer Alan Douches, Recurring Actor on the hit show Power and Artistic Director of the Classical Theatre of Harlem Ty Jones, Casting Director and Owner of Hudson Valley Casting Heidi Eklund.

Co-host, Wayne Pyle is a SAG/AFTRA/AEA actor whose work as a co-star and guest-star can be seen on the Emmy-award winning HBO hit, SUCCESSION, NBC’s THE BLACKLIST, the CW’s KATY KEENE, and many others. He’s also known for his work on independent films such as the soon-to-be-released TED K, THE GOD COMMITTEE, and CLEAN as well as indie favorites such as DRIVEWAYS with Brian Dennehy and Hong Chau, BURN with Josh Hutcherson and Tilda Cobham-Hervey, A DEADLY LEGEND with Judd Hirsch and Lori Petty, WHAT WE FOUND with Elizabeth Mitchell, as well as many others. He is also a voice actor and has voiced animation, video games, medical podcasts, and audiobooks for Hachette Audio authors James Patterson, Scott Turow, Michael Rutger, and others. He is very pleased to be a co-host with Chris Tighe on Roll the Credits with Chris & Wayne, the official video podcast of the Hunter Mountain Film Festival.

Chris Tighe, Along with helping produce “Roll The Credits with Chris and Wayne” with Wayne Pyle, Chris Tighe has been a long time Sag-Aftra actor, improviser and producer based in the Hudson Valley and New York. His work as a co-star and guest-star can be seen on the long running tv show, Law and Order SVU as well as True Crime with Aphrodite Jones, Deadly Devotions, My Dirty Little Secret and Do Not Disturb working with the legendary Joel Schumacher. He’s also known for his film roles in “Audrey” with Jena Malone, “A Bread Factory” with Tyne Daly, Young Art Watkins in “Mi America” with Robert Fontaine and many others. On stage he has performed in numerous productions under the direction of the renown Samuel E Wright of Disney’s The Little Mermaid fame. While Chris’ main focus has been film and TV he has broad industry experience as an Assistant Director for Roku’s Seeking Supernatural, Casting Associate “Mi America” and Producer and Board Member of the Hunter Mountain Film Festival. As an improviser having hosted numerous live audience shows he feels right at home with Wayne Pyle talking with the many wonderful guests who have generously shared their time and experiences with the Roll the Credits Zoomcast.
