SPENCERTOWN — St. Peter’s Presbyterian Church in Spencertown is celebrating its 250 years on the Green throughout 2021.
As part of this occasion, the Church and the Friends of Historic St. Peter’s Church (a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization founded to oversee the restoration and maintenance of the Church) are planning an art exhibit.
All artists and art owners are welcome to submit artwork that reflects some aspect of the Church building, its setting, or the community it serves.
Visitors will be welcome to view the art at the Church, with CDC protocols in place, beginning on Sept. 5 through the end of October. The artwork will also be available for viewing or purchase online.
Artwork to be dropped off at Church 10 a.m.-noon Aug. 21 and noon-2 p.m. Aug. 22.
Kickoff of the art show will take place on Sept. 5, Homecoming Sunday. CDC-recommended protocols for social distancing (if still in effect) will be followed for drop-offs.
