COPAKE — Roeliff Jansen Community Library’s Lazarus Family Tech Labs return, beginning Feb. 16 and continuing through April.

Tech Labs are designed to assist patrons of all ages with familiarizing themselves with various digital programs and devices.

Participants may sign up for as few or as many classes as they choose, free of charge. All workshops are at 11:30 a.m. Sundays.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices.

The first class, on Feb. 16, will be a lesson on how to access and download free e-books, e-audiobooks, and e-magazines from the library using library apps and databases such as Libby, Overdrive, and RBdigital.

The remaining workshops are as follows:

March 1: Kanopy, the library’s free movie streaming service. March 8: Alexa and Smart Home devices. March 15: Social Media, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. April 5: Smartphone travelling apps, including Google Translate and Maps.

Roeliff Jansen Community Library is located at 9091 Route 22, Copake.
