HUDSON — Guaranteed Rate, one of the largest retail mortgage lenders in the country, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house for its new branch in Hudson.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house took place at the new branch’s location on 886 Columbia St. in Hudson and was attended by representatives from the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, along with local residents and industry partners.

“I was thrilled to host this event and to open our doors to the community,” said Laura Staerker, the location’s branch manager. “This new office will allow us to better serve Hudson Valley’s current and future homeowners while fostering meaningful and lasting relationships within the region.”

Staerker is Guaranteed Rate’s first female vice president of mortgage lending in New York and has been in the industry for more than 15 years. She joined Guaranteed Rate in October but has been serving Columbia County and the Hudson Valley for her entire career.

Guaranteed Rate, which was founded in 2000, delivers competitive pricing, mortgage products and unmatched expertise from top-producing loan officers. The company introduced the world’s first digital mortgage, an easy-to-understand, transparent loan process, which enables industry-leading customer satisfaction and exponential growth.
