Pandemic can’t stop American Legion Memorial Day observance

Contributed photoDespite the COVID-19 virus pandemic a group of veterans from Coxsackie American Legion Post 166 and family members gathered at the WWII Memorial at 10 a.m. on Memorial Day to honor fallen veterans. Social distancing was observed. The Post Chaplin Lou Martin led the service. A new flag was raised at the conclusion and Post Adjutant Bob Kirkland played taps.
